Supporting Local Fundraising
On the 23rd September, we supported a local upholstery team called the Strippers & Stretchers who were raising money for Dementia UK. Their team completed a 24 hour swimathon as well as selling teas, cakes, freshly made pizza, tombola and a raffle!!
Almost every knows someone who has or is suffering with dementia. We hope that one day there will be a cure, but for now these families deserve all the help and support they can.
Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nursing charity that provides families with free life changing support and advice.
Yesterday we received a lovely certificate of appreciation which showed they had raised over £20,000!!!! AMAZING!
